Hello! I’m Souvik Bag, a third-year Ph.D. student in Statistics at the University of Missouri–Columbia. My research lies at the intersection of spatial statistics and computer vision, with a focus on uncertainty quantification in deep learning models.

I feel fortunate to be advised by Dr. Jonathan R Bradley during my PhD.

Before starting my Ph.D., I was a pre-doctoral fellow at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore under Dr. Soudeep Deb.

I spent the summer of 2024 at Los Alamos National Labratory as an applied machine learning fellow working with Dr. Giri Gopalan.
